Greg Johnson

Hello! I'm Greg, Co-founder and Principal Consultant here at Viridian.

For many tech companies, expressing the real-world impact of their solutions can be challenging. Similarly, business leaders often find it difficult to assess how new technologies fit into their goals and add meaningful value. This disconnect can create barriers to growth and progress on both sides

My work is about helping close that gap.

Drawing on a broad spectrum of local and global experience, from Big Tech to Startups, I help businesses clarify, communicate, and access the value of technology.

Over the years, I have led sales and delivery teams across a wide range of technology domains—applications, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data, infrastructure - plus research, & advisory — gaining hands-on insights into how to navigate and drive growth and value in each of these areas.

My engagements with clients are based around the three core principles of:

Clarifying value: I work with tech companies to frame their innovations in terms that make sense to business leaders, while helping organizations evaluate how emerging technologies can support strategic goals.

Providing Practical guidance: My approach delivers actionable insights for both sides—helping technology firms better connect with their customers and enabling businesses to identify and adopt technologies that drive meaningful results.

Collaborative and agile problem-solving: By partnering with both tech companies and enterprises, I ensure that communication is clear and that both parties can make well-informed decisions about where and how technology creates value.

Ultimately, my goal is to make the value of technology clear, meaningful, and actionable — ensuring that my clients build lasting relationships, drive progress and consistently demonstrate the impact they bring to their business and customers.

Sian O’Hanlon

Co-Founder and Principal Consultant 

My name is Sian O’Hanlon, and I am one of the co-founders here at Viridian. I have over 25 years of leadership, working for global organisations like Gartner, Microsoft and HPE.  My career with these companies has given me a rich experience and understanding of building high performing teams, as well as how to achieve excellence in client relationships & retention.

C Level Engagement

Throughout my career, I have specialized in engaging with C-level executives and boards, building loyal and long-standing relationships by consistently delivering business value across multiple different sectors. This excellence in all aspects of engaging with C suite has enabled me to coach many teams on how to improve their executive presence and their overall impact with senior leaders, leading consistently to significantly improved results.

Leadership

Hiring and coaching the right talent and then nurturing and maintaining that talent to meet and exceed revenue targets is something I have extensive experience of. For many organisations this remains the holy grail of how to realise their growth ambitions and it can be a costly and time-consuming journey. My approach is one based on empathy and an understanding of the individual combined with an understanding of the needs of the organisation to create value & drive sustainable revenue at pace.

Mentoring

One of my greatest passions is mentoring and coaching individuals. I have had the honour of guiding many professionals, helping them advance to promotions and to new stages of their careers and their lives. Watching these individuals grow and succeed has been without doubt one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
